A new thing

A new thing…

Fitting that this is the first month of the year to write my first post under the newly published Paper Lion. 

This venture has been a long time coming. For (and I’m not kidding) YEARS I had made plans to open an online shop to sell my art. Many friends and family members have encouraged and cheered me on, some have even offered friendly, intense peer pressure, all of which I appreciate. 

I don’t know what the future of this site will be, or what it will mean for me and the art I create. But after I pressed “Publish” and made this site live, I told the Lord that above all, it’s for Him. He can do with it what He desires. As for my own heart, I desire that whoever lands in this small space of the internet would see His beauty in everything I’ve created, art and words alike.

So if you’ve encouraged me in any way, thank you for your love and support! If you find something you like, buy it! If you enjoy what you see, share it with others. 

And to the God who created me, wove me in my mother’s womb, watched over me, brought me into His kingdom by the blood of the Lamb, words cannot express my gratitude and the love that spills out of my heart for You! I release Paper Lion Co into Your hands for You to do with it what You see fit. My prayer, Lord, is that you would get the glory. May my life be a symphony to You, may the works of my hands paint small glimpses of Your love, may everything here be a testimony of Your goodness, and may it bless Your heart. You deserve it all.
